Inspiração: Loss of jaguars natural habitat due to deforestation.
The characteristic spots of the jaguar are replaced by the image of tree stumps. These represent the cut down trees and destruction of their habitat due to human activity- leaving no place for the jaguars to hide or live.

Vero Rivera's Bio': Vero Rivera was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her work is built around her interest in the contradictions that surround us and our interactions with nature, such as the ephemeral qualities of life resisting the human need or desire of durability and preservation. The artist intends to catch the spectators attention by utilizing natural elements and their ornamental qualities, while simultaneously trying to represent how human relations -including her own- mimic nature's ability to adapt, heal and strive depending on its surroundings, experiences or relation to time.

Materiais necessários: Acrylic paint, brushes, varnish.
