#918 - Sunrise in The Jungle

Inspiração: The inspiration for the design comes from my love of animal prints and shiny things. The idea is to recreate the golden hour of a sunrise on the jaguar as a symbol of new beginnings. To highlight the majesticness of the jaguar the spots will be adorned with clusters of black rhinestones, while its sits perked in a thicket of grass.
SANDY N CLAFFORD's Bio': My name is Sandy Clafford, and I'm a New York based Visual Artist. I create work under the moniker, The Queen’s Artillery. My art merges several practices, encompassing, illustration, painting, collage, photography, and multimedia software. I love to convey the vibrancy of my Afro Latino heritage through bright colors, and motifs of gaudiness and grandeur in my creations. My series WTMD uses animal and floral patterns to establish a non-verbal conversation. From these designs I was commissioned by Grey Goose to create a pin in commemoration of the US Open 2021.
