Inspiração: I mainly ground the primary inspiration of this artwork in one of the major transportation in the Philippines, and that is, the Jeepney. Jeepneys are also well-known as the "King of the streets" because they provide easy travel to the commuters with affordable prices, and they are commonly seen in the busiest streets such as the principal cities and suburban communities.

Hence, likewise the jaguar that can be considered as a "king" who roams around the jungles and their communities, leaning with pride and boldness.

Mak P. Lau's Bio': Hello! My name is Mak P. Lau and I am a virtual artist based in the Philippines. My works are often related in such several topics that can be seen thoroughly in the dissimilar aspects of life, such as personal stories and experiences, folktales, culture and traditions, nature, etc. For me, these themes brought so much joy and color to one specific artwork because it can project the artist's sentiments towards to the audience, creating a more vivid and encompassing interconnectedness. I also believed in the saying that, art can narrate stories, and these stories could uplift a person, one way or another.

I'm a more of a digital person. I'm very fond of creating illustrations and collages digitally. But then, this time, I want to try something new. At this moment, I'm practicing myself unto traditional sketching and illustrating.
