#388 - Resist To Exist

Inspiração: The main idea in this painting is to alarm the population about the path of extinction of the species. The jaguar is the largest feline in the Americas and one of the animals that most represent Brazil, so it is a species that needs attention and protection, as well as its natural environment, the forests. With that in mind, my work will be based on the colors of fire, representing deforestation in environmental preservation areas, and the phrase “RESIST TO EXIST” written more aggressively, as if it were the jaguar roaring and demanding its space. These animals are resisting and fighting for their survival.

Bruna Serifa's Bio': Bruna Serifa (@serifa_) is a latin brazilian multiartist based in Sao Paulo, and her work is basically everything that has to do with letters and words. She believes in the transforming power of art and seeks to bring into her work messages that question, strengthen, calm and welcome. From painting walls and murals to digital lettering, Serifa uses words to give voice and transform stories.
After years working on social and environmental initiatives, she started her artistic career in 2014, and since then, he has painted in different cities in Brazil, Colombia, Panama and USA, and participated in group exhibitions in São Paulo and Mexico.
Now, the goal is to bring impactful messages to public spaces and create a dialogue with the world, while using art and colors as a tool for those voices to be heard.
